Final call for 2024 Membership fees .They are now due Your membership fees include your Rowing Ireland Registration and Insurance. A reminder Notice along with the ClubZap payment link will be sent out to all groups a grace period of 2 months has ended. Thank you very much to those who have paid their subs already.
The committee agreed a new membership fee structure for the 2024 season . The new fees reflect the rise in the cost of Coastal and offshore affiliation to Rowing Ireland which in December 2023 rose from a flat fee of €10 to €25 for Coastal and €35 for offshore This was a major rise which Rowing Ireland felt was necessary as they had kept the costs artificially low at €10 for the past 6 years while the river rowers paid €55 during this time .The river fee also rises to €65. This affiliation fee includes personal rower insurance up to the value of €65,000.00 . We have tried to keep our club fees as low as possible over the years especially for the juniors .However this rise is unavoidable
The new fee structure is as follows Junior under 16 €100. Associate Members €100. Youth under 18 and students €125. Adult Memberships €190. Family membership is €380 which is equivalent to 2 adult memberships and can include up to 6 immediate family members . This year with the introduction of the Clubzap we will be using it as the primary method of paying fees as this makes payments much more flexible as it can be paid in 1 payment or in a series of 3 instalments . If you are purchasing Family membership you can just keep adding members and the maximum you will pay is €380 even though you may have purchased 2 adult and 2 youths memberships which should cost €630.
We would greatly appreciate receiving your fees at this stage of the year to ensure we are well financed for the upcoming season. Thank You
