Congratulations to  Xena Jordan  who represented the club and Ireland at the world Beach Sprints Championships in Genoa Italy over the weekend 
Xena was in the Mixed Quad along with Adam, Miriam ,Kealan and Cox David  They finished in the top 16 of the time trials and  qualified for the knock out rounds  where they went head to head  against last years medallists France . The Irish crew put up a great performance  were only beaten by four seconds by the French team . Congratulation again to Xena it is a great honour to represent your country and Xena is the first from Wicklow Rowing Club to do so but we are sure that she will be the first of many to do so and the experience she has gained will be a huge benefit to the club's future Irish Internationals .
