Wicklow Rowing Club are honoured to announce that the Club will be hosting The Irish Beach Sprint Championships on August 10th 2024 at Brittas Bay Wicklow . World Rowing and the International Olympic Committee have introduced Beach Spints into the Olympic Games and the 4 year cycle to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics has begun. The Irish Beach Sprint Championships will be the Irish Qualifiers for the World Beach Sprints Championships in Genoa Italy in September 2024 .The club will be working closely with the Rowing Ireland Offshore committee to plan the championships.
