The Club timetable has been cleared in preparation for the start of on the water training after this weekend . As always after the clocks go forward this Saturday we have brightness up to 8 pm so crews start getting back on the water. Training usually starts slowly and ramps up as the weeks go on. The timetable has a number of functions
1. It provides a means for crews to train at an available time slot and to pre-plan their week which will be visible to all our APP users .
2 .It allows the club to see what boats we need to make available for use
3 . It gives the club safety adviser vision of when boats will be on the water to unsure that the necessary safety precautions are taken. This is extremely important as there have been changes to the Code of practice for the safe operation of recreational craft (Irish Maritime Regulations) that specify that before a boat takes to the water there must be a Dedicated Person Ashore thatshould be aware of the details of the outing. This is especially relevant to trips that are done out of normal training times or after dark . This applies to All club boats Skiffs Quads Doubles and Singles
You can find the timetable in the clubhouse section of the clubzap
